GHOOK is designed to make handling heavy, dirty, and fouled lazy lines easier, safer, and more efficient when docking Mediterranean-style.

The GHOOK boat hook consists of a handle with an inserted rolling wheel for clean and fast transfer of an overgrown lazy line. It can be used alone or together with a tow rope for optimal handling. Due to its simplicity and versatility, it can be utilized by various crew members on different types of boats.

How to use GHOOK?

GHOOK can be used together with the HOOKLINKER for easier lazy line pick-up, anytime - day or night.

1. Attach the GHOOK

Securely attach the GHOOK to the mooring (lazy) line, ensuring a stable and reliable connection.

2. Close the safety latch.

Firmly close the safety latch to ensure a secure and reliable lock, preventing any accidental release.

3. Pull toward the final cleat

Pull the line firmly toward the final cleat, maintaining proper tension and secure positioning.

4. Throw GHOOK into the water

Pull the long line steadily, maintaining control and ensuring proper alignment for a smooth operation.

Yes, GHOOK is designed to fit various thicknesses of mooring lines commonly used in marinas.

No, GHOOK is a standalone tool that does not require any extra equipment. However, when used together with Boatasy Hooklinker, the experience is even smoother for boats up to 8 meter in legnth.
